KEY INFORMATION FOR TEAM PARENTS

  • Fall 2024 Volunteer Coordinator:

  • A Team Parent’s primary role is to help your Manager coordinate the team communications and logistics so that he/she can focus on coaching.

  • Training Slides are provided here for Team Parents to review; policies and procedures change from season to season so please check with your Volunteer Coordinator for the most updated information.

  • Team Parents should assist their Managers in assigning the team’s volunteer positions. Thousand Oaks Little League is managed and run all by volunteers.  It is important to ask for everyone to help and do their part to make the league successful. 

  • Team Parents are required to undergo a Background check. Any questions about team background checks. 

  • Uniforms come pre-numbered without names so you and your Coach will need to distribute them based roster number assigned.  

    • Hats can be embroidered with last name, number or both. Please see the flyer under “Resources and Forms” section named “Hat Embroidery” for instructions and prices. 

  • Team Parents should set up a Team Management app to track games, practices, other events, as well as Player Availability. It should include a team roster with parent contacts for emergencies. TOLL recommends using Sports Engine, as all games and rosters will be pre-loaded by the League. This may change from season to season so please check with your Volunteer Coordinator for the most updated information.
